Enabling Guesty Integration

  1. Before we begin and activate the integration, obtain and provide your Akia Integration Token from the Guesty Integration page to your Akia Customer Success Representative to configure your account in Akia.

  1. Once previous steps have been completed, Akia will begin receiving reservation data from Guesty when reservations are created/updated.
      • Akia will not receive reservations that were already made in Guesty unless they are updated
  1. You’ll be able to verify new reservations coming through into Akia by visiting the Records tab in Akia.

Bulk Update Reservations in Guesty to Push to Akia

Guesty has two options to assist with bulk updating reservations to push to Akia:

  • Self-Service (Fastest): You can use the Reservations list in Guesty to select the relevant bookings and use the "Bulk Actions" tool to add a tag (e.g., Akia_Refresh). This will immediately trigger the sync of reservations to Akia.
  • Support Assistance: If you would prefer Guesty to handle the bulk update, please provide a clear criteria (e.g., "All reservations created before April 9th") and confirm which field you would like us to update (e.g., adding a specific Internal Note).

Integration Breakdown

  • 2-way integration - Akia receives reservation information from Guesty and can send back guest and conversation information to Guesty
  • Webhooks - Akia receives bookings right when they happen and Guesty sends us updates when the reservation is updated

What Can I Do Now That I Have Guesty?

  • Send a message when the guest checks in or out
  • Have a key code in Guesty that you want to send to the guest in Akia? Use the {{customer.guesty_key_code__c}} message token to populate it in your messages or Mini Apps
  • Use your unit image from Guesty in Akia by using the token {{customer.guesty_unit_image_url__c}} in the Mini App image component “Dynamically resolve image from token” option
